New Orleans awhile back
When my son & his girlfriend lived in New Orleans I took this picture of Bourbon St. one early Sunday Morning. Then I used Photoshop and made a poster style picture of it. Thought it was pretty cool to do.There are some good memories of the Big Easy. We haven't been back since Katrina though. Think we'll keep our memories as they are.
How To Get To Sleep
Would you like to know how to get to sleep and sleep soundly?- Spritz your favorite perfume on your pillow just before you lay down. Then breathe in the fragrance. Perfumes that include lavender are very relaxing. Lavender is known for it's calming scent.
- Read a little each night. Keep your light within easy reach to turn it off without having to get up and walk across the room.
- Reading the Bible or scripture verses will settle your spirit and make the devil mad enough to want you to sleep.
- Drink a glass of milk-especially scalded milk-before bed.
- Have a bedtime routine. Stick to it. That is a clock that tells your body it is time to change pace and retire to bed.
(I always have to make sure the coffepot is ready to go the next day, take my vitamin, have a glass of milk to wash it down, or a small bowl of cereal with milk. Then I clean my face, put on the night cream etc. The very last thing I do before getting in bed is to spray perfume on my pillows. Kissing my husband goodnight before I turn out my reading lamp and I'm ZZZZing.)

Today I Begin-Making Life Better-One Moment at a Time
The only Blog I ever read was very depressing. A bit "Gothic" to say the least. This is my attempt to bring a little light, a little sunshine, perhaps great pronouncements (Hah!) and a little fun to make -at least-my life a little better.Who or what I am:I am a playwright, mother of grown artistic children, actress (within the community theatre here) grandmother, wife, daughter, daughter-in-law, business/office manager/photographer etc. of home based business with my husband-called Pro-Draft (He is a C.A.D. operator with 12 years experience in drafting design.), part-time Asst. House and Box Office Manager of the Coughlin-Saunders Performing Arts Building here in town, part-time at the community theatre, a spirit-filled Christian, and just in the past couple of years discovered I have been ADD all my life-which accounts for most of the variety of things I jump into and out of.
I am a little over weight-but I intend to use this platform to get control of my body.I am over 50 (not a lot over) my husband is 62 so I would love to hear from others who are in this same age group.
